Huajian Company's Stationery Incoming Inspection Standards

I Purpose: To define the quality acceptance standards for incoming stationery supplies, standardize inspection procedures, and ensure consistency in inspection and judgment criteria.

II Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, packaging requirements, and inspection rules for incoming stationery supplies. It applies to all incoming inspections of stationery products within the company.

III Inspection Items and Rules

1. Packaging Inspection

● Check whether products are packed in boxes according to the specified quantity, with no mixed versions, under-packing, or mixed items allowed. Ensure that lining paper and padding boards are properly placed during packaging to keep products flat and protected.

● Verify that products include a certificate of conformity, containing details such as production date, product name, specifications, quantity, manufacturer, production date, and shelf life.

2. Appearance Inspection

● Check that product color or style is correct and materials are accurate. Fonts and patterns should be clear, correct, free of misprints, omissions, or ink smudges.

● Inspect product surfaces for deformation, damage, scratches, stains, breaks, chips, cracks, dents, rust, or burrs. Products must not have non-functional sharp points or edges.

3. Structure and Dimension Inspection   

● Check that the product structure is sturdy, well-assembled, with no loose components. Examples include rivets in folders, joints in staplers, and hinges in pencil cases.

● Verify that product dimensions and models meet procurement and usage requirements, with no deviations beyond general tolerance ranges allowed.

4. Practical Usage Testing

● Test whether the product’s functionality meets requirements, with no issues affecting actual use. For example, pens should not skip or have uneven lines, erasers must erase pencil marks, staplers must function, pencil cases must close properly, and folders must hold documents securely.

5. Drop Test

● Drop the product from a height of 36 inches onto a surface five times, in the following directions: front, back, top, one side, and any other direction;   inspect for any damage.

6. Ink Rub Test

● Place an eraser vertically on the surface of the product with screen printing, apply a downward force of 1 1/2±1/4 pounds, and rub in one direction (without back-and-forth motion) for 10 strokes over an appropriate length (e.g., at least 1 inch). The product surface must show no damage.

7. Pull and Torque Test

● This test checks the assembly strength of the product. Perform according to product specifications; if unspecified, the pull force requirement is 10 kgf, and the torque requirement is 5 kgf/cm. The product must remain undamaged after testing.
